Hear a presentation from Mel Kubisa (Community Living Options) regarding a successful Human rights therapeutic accommodation support model for people with intellectual disability, personality disorder and involved in the criminal justice system.
Hear about the project CLO are undertaking with Mental Health SA and the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist to translate the therapeutic model into an NDIS framework for SIL and positive behaviour support.
After the presentation, contribute to a discussion on attendee’s experience in supporting individuals with complex behaviour support needs in shared living arrangements. What has worked, what are the barriers, lets share our experiences
