Joy Allen, who describes herself as ‘an elder standing on the shoulders of giants’ believes the body wears our spiritual and emotional trauma. Her initial training consisted of an MA in Clinical and Transpersonal Psychology (incorporating the body, mind and breath) in the US. Recent influences include Babette Rothschild, Andy Harkin and the increasing body of neuroscience research.
