Disability Inclusion Bill 2018

State Parliament has passed important legislation that will help to ensure South Australians living with disability have equal access to all sectors of the community. The Disability Inclusion Bill 2018 sets a framework for greater access and inclusion for people with disability to a range of community activities and services, such as public transport, the health system, and education. Under the Bill, state and local governments will develop and implement disability access and inclusion plans (DAIPs), which will make sure people with disability have the same rights as other members of the community.
