Metropolitan Disability Transition Network meetings in June – Adelaide

An Invitation for the metropolitan Disability Transition Network meeting (Refer to attached flyer).

Theme: NDIS from a parent and school perspective. How is the planning, funding and support for families going to affect school supports and transitions?

Presenter: Sam Paior, The Growing Space

These network meetings are for Teachers, Special Education Teachers, Support Officers, VET Coordinators, Flexible Learning staff, Youth Workers, DES/NDIS Providers and Careers Advisers about supporting students with disability to make a successful transition from school to training, education and employment. Disability Employment Services and Job Active Employment Services staff are welcome too.

The Transition Network meetings will be held at the following locations:

• Tonsley Campus of TAFE SA – Tuesday 13th June – 3.45pm – 5.15pm
• Woodcroft Morphettvale Neighbourhood Centre – Monday 19th June – 3.45pm – 5.15pm
• Immanuel College – Wednesday 21st June – 3.45pm – 5.15pm

When you RSVP state your name, school/organisation and session you will be attending. Could you please RSVP by COB 10th June. Unfortunately if there are insufficient numbers at a venue e.g. less than 10 participants, the event may need to be cancelled.
