In June, MHPN is hosting an online webinar called ‘Working together to prevent heart disease for people living with psychiatric illness’.

  • describe the bidirectional relationship between heart disease and mental health
  • identify the risk factors and warning signs for heart disease in persons with psychiatric illness
  • describe the merits and challenges of the most effective evidence-based approaches
  • target referrals based on an improved understanding of different disciplines’ roles.
