Dr Alinka Fisher, Associate Lecturer at Flinders University

Dr Alinka Fisher is an Associate Lecturer at Flinders University, and Chair of the PBS Community of Practice in SA. She began her career as a Developmental Educator, with a background in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) with complex behaviour support needs. As part of her PhD, Alinka developed and trialled the FAB-PBS program, which is currently being trialled in a larger feasibility study funded by the Lifetime Support Authority. Alinka coordinates and lectures in PBS topics within the Bachelor of Developmental Education at Flinders University. She also provides PBS consultation in the disability sector, including professional development training and family support workshops through Families4Families Inc.
