The Peer Connect website provides practical information about peer networks in Australia, focusing on the disability community.
There are three brand new workbooks about setting up and running peer networks – Strong Peer Networks: Connecting the Beads Together. These workbooks have been created by people who are running peer networks around Australia.
They are guides to help you get started, and to help you think through how your network is going and what you can do.
The 3 workbooks have been designed for:
- People who are interested in setting up a peer network and people already involved in peer networks, looking for ways to keep their peer network strong
- People interested in setting up a peer network for people living in shared accommodation arrangements such as boarding houses, or group homes
- People interested in setting up and running peer networks by and for young people.
There is also an Easy English version.
