This report presents findings from a Victorian parliamentary inquiry that examined services provided for people with autism spectrum disorder.
This report has been published by the Family and Community Development Committee, Parliament of Victoria.
The report found serious shortcomings in service access, quality and delivery in Victoria for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including but not limited to:
- access to timely and affordable assessment and diagnosis
- availability of early childhood interventions
- inclusive schooling options
It makes recommendations to improve the access, availability and quality of services to people with ASD.
