Resource – Keeping Body and Mind Together

This report is about improving the physical health and life expectancy of people with serious mental illness. The report was prepared by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). The RANZCP believes that much more needs to be done to address the gap in physical health and life expectancy between those who live with a mental illness and the general population. This will require a collaborative effort from a broad range of stakeholders involved in mental health, including governments, consumers, health-care providers and psychiatrists.
