Teaching young people with disability about their rights

The Office of the Guardian for Children and Young People has sets of flashcards for teaching young people with disability about their rights. The cards simplify the 37 rights in South Australia’s Charter of Rights for Children and Young People in Care into seven simple and clear key messages: the right to be safe; the right to be included and have a say; the right to be with people who make me feel good about myself; the right to privacy; the right to learn; the right to get help when I need it; the right to know who I am and where I come from.
