The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability is holding community forums in SA during Nov.

The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability is holding community forums in South Australia this month.

There will be three forums – two in Adelaide on 12 November, and one in Gawler on 14 November.

Community forums are a less formal way for people with disability and others in the disability community to directly share their personal experiences of violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation with the Royal Commission. You can register your interest in speaking to Commissioners publicly at the forum, and Commission staff will be on hand to talk one on one with anyone who would like to. We do recommend that you register in advance, as spaces will be limited by venue size.

Auslan interpreters and live captioning will be available.

Visit the Disability Royal Commission website for more information about future community forums across Australia and making submissions.
