On 21st February the DEAI was invited by the Disability and Community Inclusion Unit (DCIU), Flinders University, to host a panel of Developmental Educators to present about their roles and careers to the new students.
These presentations are very beneficial for students as they give an insight into the profession they are about to study and the career opportunities it can offer. Feedback from students is always very positive.
The DEAI thanks DCIU for the invitation to host the panel and especially, (from L to R), Lorraine Lindsay (Flinders University and DEAI Committee Member), Natalie D’Antonio (My Connected Community), Fran Whiteley (scosa), Carlin Lee (Return to Work SA) and Emily Anderson (disAbility Living) for their contributions.
The DEAI also sincerely thanks the agencies for enabling the DE’s attendance on the panel.
