Advocacy for Disability Access and Inclusion Inc (ADAI) and Equality Lawyers are hosting a live digital event: Disability Rights in Conversation. This conversation will cover topics such as; ‘what’s the difference between an advocate and a lawyer?’, and ‘how can I be involved in the Disability Royal Commission?’, as well as questions from the public.

Information about the hosts (taken directly from the event):
Alexandra Turnbull is an advocate at Advocacy for Disability Access and Inclusion Inc. who works within the Disability Royal Commission team. She has previously been a Senator’s advisor and a lawyer. Her background includes advocating for veterans and women’s rights.
Natalie Wade is the Founder and Principal Lawyer of Equality Lawyers. She has a wealth of experience in disability and administrative law. She is also the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations’ resident Disability Royal Commission expert adviser.
