National Disability Services is holding a workshop on NDIS Requirements and NDIS Plans. NDIS has changed the Disability sector, which means the role of a modern-day Disability Support Worker has also changed.
National Disability Services and the Department for Innovation and Skills are thrilled to have industry leaders Michelle Pomeroy (Developmental Educator, I Can Jump Puddles) and Sam Boag (Director and Physiotherapist – I Can Jump Puddles) to present our first workshop.
This session will delve into what NDIS requirements and NDIS plans look like in reality, how this affects the role of a support workers and provide clarity on what needs to change for disability workers to better meet NDIS service delivery requirements.
Whilst this session is a part of a VET Practitioner professional development series (click here for more information), it is open to the public as it provides fantastic foundational knowledge on everything NDIS.
Attendees will gain access to current industry standards, fantastic resources through a vibrant and interactive workshop.
This session will be live streamed with the ability to interact with the presenters in real time.
