National Disability Services (NDS) SA is currently inviting state-wide expressions of interest to people living with a disability, their families and/or direct support workers to participate in a 2 day workshop designed to explore small start-up businesses and microenterprise as an employment option.
The two day workshop covers:
- What is micro-enterprise
- My business idea/discovery
- The market around me
- Money matters
- Sales and marketing
- Funding and ongoing supports
The workshops will be facilitated by Dr Guy Turnbull who co-wrote and delivers Rapid Enterprise Development workshops for people living with disability across the UK.
We would love to extend the invitation to a person or family attached to your organisation who you think might be interested in support to get a small business or microenterprise idea off the ground.
To express a registration of interest please contact Vanessa Schoek on 8154 3702. Registrations close 16th February and workshops will be held in March.
