YMCA’s Youth Konnections LEAP program

YMCA runs Youth Konnections LEAP program – a program for young adults (18-30 year olds) on the autism spectrum, which provides a place to be, a place to learn, a place to enjoy experiences and place to have fun. The program is designed to help individuals on the autism spectrum transition into adulthood, as well as assisting to build genuine and sustainable social connections. There are also LEAP aquatics programs available to the community, which encourage and teach people with disability how to swim and be confident in the water.
