Psychosocial Disability covered by the NDIS from 1 July 2018

Psychosocial disabilities are disabilities born from a mental health issue. There are eligibility criteria for those who enter the NDIS including age, residency, and disability requirements. People with a psychosocial disability need to have a permanent or likely-to-be permanent disability as a result of their mental health condition, which impacts on their day to day life, and expect to require ongoing support.
